Having Solid experience in the manufacturing industry as a Production Manager, her career path include 20 plus years of  CNC machining. Debra specialize in 5 axes mills and multi-functional Lathe, Quality Supervisor, Team Lead in secondary OPs, and Tool and Die Journeyman.

Debra held the position of Production Supervisor, Instruments and Reconstruction Machining Departments. She supervised production resources to ensure the production plan was met within the required Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost objectives thereby ensuring training compliance and developed training plans. 
She lead cross-functional team through the kaizen process; including: (1) planning of kaizen events with a direct impact on SQDC targets, (2) kaizen execution and (3) sustainment of kaizen, while actively working with the Production Engineering department to reduce cost and improve productivity.
Debra was accountable for Machining Department performance and ensured production schedules were met through optimum use of resources to maximize productivity.

Debra assisted with talent acquisition as a hiring manager and resolving personnel situations: coaching, guidance, investigating, identifying solutions and recommending action. With fully hands on problem solving, she posses  the ability to troubleshoot issues. She also took action on repairs, schedule outside resources, deal with productivity and/or quality issues.
Debra recommend the hiring, advancement, and termination of subordinates.
Knowledgeable and responsive to issues, she was also responsible for monitoring work and writing performance reviews.

Debra Dunbar has proven to be an exceptional trainer and mentor to numerous individuals who are now successful as productive and professional employees in numerous positions across industries.
